001. an update
Have you ever found yourself in a conversation or asked yourself,
“ I wonder what it’s like to live in _____?”
In March 2021, Nick and I lived our last month in our cute Cobble Hill neighborhood. We sold, donated, and gifted all our belongings, packed up my car, and decided to test out living in all the places we thought about. The plan is to live and drive across the US, stopping by places we always wanted to visit and to answered all the times we ask ourselves that same question,
“ I wonder what it is like to live in _______?”
The details of this trip are fluid. The plan is loosely no plan, but the places where the national parks are will help guide our way. So we loosely started at the Appalachian mountains in upstate NY and then drove down to the Great Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. Most recently, we drove by and hiked the Monmouth Caves in Kentucky. This past long weekend, we moved into St. Louis, MO, home of the Gateway Arch National Park. And today we finally launched our blog 🎉 yaaay!
The first post is always the hardest post, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet.
